Reclaimed Fence Post Daybed

A rework of the hanging daybed below to fit the final space better, this much more elaborate daybed with a chandelier and clearlight roofing was constructed out of reclaimed hardwood fence posts and given resin accents in any damaged sections to match the cushion. It now takes pride of place in the client’s firepit and outdoor area.

Ash Mantlepiece

Designed specifically to replace the old brick mantle, this custom solid ash piece makes a statement, which is exactly what the client wanted

Hanging Daybed

This huge hanging daybed has a custom cushion in sunbrella aquamarine to create a 2.4 x 1.2m lounging area next to the client’s as yet unfinished petanque court. Perfect for the spectators or just a great place to read a book on a sunny afternoon.

Camphor Entertainment Shelf

This simple camphor laurel entertainment shelf has very minimalist amounts of black resin and perfectly compliments the client’s decor in their lounge room.

Custom Dry Bar

This dry bar was custom designed to accommodate two wine fridges, one for white and one for red! Camphor Laurel drawer fronts and countertop are paired with black resin and a bespoke matte black wine rack unit to create one piece of seamless furniture. An azure blue lake adds interest and wow factor.

Bluegum Live Edge Vanity Tops

These two matching live edge bluegum vanity tops are filled with small amounts of accent black resin and finished with a matte 2-pak coating in order to ensure that they are completely waterproof.

Camphor Laurel and Electric Blue Resin Shelves

These camphor shelves have electric blue resin, with two destined for a client’s kitchen and the longer one for a narrow hallway.

Occasional/Wine Tasting Table

Occasional table made of camphor laurel and topped with a circular toughened glass top. Aluminium trims match the glass table mount. Turpentine Wood Side Table

This side table comes from a reclaimed wharf pile and has been filled with contrasting white resin. Finished with Danish Oil, this table sits on casters to make the 45kg block easy to move around!

Reclaimed wharf day bed

This day bed is made from chunky reclaimed wharf piles left in their raw state and decked with Western Jarrah that’s been allowed to grey naturally in the sun. These camphor laurel legs for the kitchen island and bespoke floating shelves are designed to elevate the client’s off the shelf kitchen, just showing that with some thought, you can add interest to your space easily without breaking the bank.

Camphor Laurel Kitchen Shelf

Designed specifically to hide the transition between two sets of open shelving in an awkward kitchen corner, this shelf with black resin and a live edge that transitions to a dressed edge is custom designed with slots for the client’s pasta making equipment and as a beautiful display area under the large window.

Camphor Laurel Cabinet

This solid camphor cabinet was constructed to match the client’s dining table and servery shelves on their deck. The same leg design as the dining table mean that it slots seamlessly into their deck design.

This simple but effective live edge camphor laurel shelf has green envy resin accents.

Spotted gum Shelving with Integrated “Tree”

These bespoke corner shelves are different depths and different spacing to accommodate the client’s many weird sized books! The spalted maple tree looks like it’s growing through the shelves and for added stability, custom wrought iron brackets add character.

Camphor Laurel Vanity Top

This camphor laurel vanity top is finished with multiple coats of danish oil and really stands out in the all white bathroom space.

Wharf Pile Coffee Table/Benches

These three wharf piles are made of insanely heavy turpentine wood, with brass accents and individually mounted on casters for ease of movement. They are at least 100kg each, after all! Minimal work has been done to them so that they can naturally go grey in the weather. Truly versatile, they’re not just a coffee table. They can have a cushion put on them to turn them and the sofas into a large day bed all at the same height or they can be split and used as benches for extra seating if required.

Gymnastics Practice Beam

Made as a favour for some friends who have a gymnastics-mad daughter, this simple beam is beautiful as well as functional. Purple resin hides the fixings and gives it a lot of character. If you’d like one of these for the gymnastics mad child (or adult) in your life, contact us here.

Camphor Laurel Kitchen Island Table

This 2.4m x 1m kitchen island table is set at counter height to accommodate eight stools and to double as an additional preparation area for this client’s kitchen. Finished in Danish Oil and mounted on custom matte black powdercoated steel legs, this island nearly doubles the useable counter space! The accompanying stools can be seen here.

Camphor Laurel and Black Resin Headboard

This headboard is made of a single slab of Camphor Laurel and has been filled with contrasting black resin. Finished with Danish Oil, this headboard uses a french cleat system to attach securely to the wall. The matching side tables can be seen here and the accompanying coffee table here.

Camphor Laurel Kitchen Island

This 3.2m long camphor kitchen island has a matching waterfall end that incorporates a resin shadow gap, for a completely unique look. The grey pearl resin references the storms that they can often see from their new house, high on a ridge in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Peach Tree Speaker Shelving

Minimalist and functional, the small voids on these two peach tree rounds have been filled with neon resin and turned into three simple shelves to house the client’s AppleTV and speakers in their covered outdoor lounge.

Custom Petanque Scoreboard

Slightly more than a scoreboard, this wine barrel inspired shelving unit is powdercoated steel with robust decking shelves and a repurposed scoreboard. It has space to put a drink while you play and places to store the balls and other outdoor games while you drink! It matches the hanging daybed also created for the same client.

Blackbutt Bar Area

This L-shaped blackbutt bartop was the recipient of some experimental techniques. The timber on the inside of the river was sprayed with gold paint and then a green resin was poured in small areas to match the feature wall in the space. Then transparent resin completed the look to provide a durable surface. A brass accent piece separates the join in the top and blackbutt accents were included between the cabinetry for a custom bar area.

Aquarium Pump Cover Side Table

This beautiful waterfall side table with custom legs was designed specifically to cover an existing client’s ugly aquarium pump assembly. Made to match the console table he’d already ordered, this covers functional with beautiful!

Bespoke Shelving

These custom shelves were entirely made to measure for a client as part of an extensive renovation.

Burl and Transparent Resin Floating Makeup Table

This floating makeup table is made of multiple burls embedded in transparent resin, with contrasting ice blue resin accents and banksia pods also included. The accompanying side tables can be seen here.

Camphor Laurel Entertainment Unit

Constructed from 40mm thick Camphor Laurel, this slab was selected for the client for their new built-in entertainment unit. It was picked specifically for the amazing grain and colouring to tie in with the various colours contained in their reclaimed wood floor. This piece was finished with Danish oil before installation. Bespoke Office/Library Shelves

These custom shelves for my own personal new office/library/gaming room was entirely made to measure. Made from 26mm thick plywood, this inexpensive shelving houses upwards of 1,000 books and still provides a beautiful bespoke office solution. Matched with an “octopus” 7 drop lighting solution on stainless steel wires and with cable holes in the shelving, this office is perfectly minimalist with everything in its place.
